Remnants
Through experimentations, I learnt how the raw mined materials; potash feldspar, silica, and ball clay react with the domestic by-products mussel shells and eggshells, when fired in a kiln. Some of these investigations led to the development of my own formulated clay bodies, while others remained as unmelted powder. Remnants is composed of a glass jar containing unmelted materials collected from the accompanying stack of ceramic tiles.
